June 18th, 2017 – Happy Father’s Day to all you fathers! It is a beautiful day in the Texas hill country today, although it is going to get hot later on, but nothing like Arizona and California. Our high is supposed to only be in the low 90’s! Everyone keeps asking me about peaches, but I have to tell them that we are still a couple of weeks away from the bigger, freestone peaches.

Lovely room(s) in the lower carriage house. Very comfortable bed and nice big bathroom. ☺ The breakfast was very nice. A very nice assortment. ☹ There was a small, fine cat hair on my plate, under a quiche-type dish which caused me to lose my appetite. However, the dish tasted pretty good, up until that point! I liked the location, however my husband thought it was a bit too far from Fredericksburg.

Wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away for a few days ☺ Stay was incredible!! Lovely view, beautiful room and quiet setting. Breakfast was delicious. ☹ There was not one thing to dislike about this property.

Great place to recharge ☺ Rolling hills and wild deer roaming about it was a great getaway from the noisy crowded city.Looking at all the clear stars at night on the outer deck was so relaxing and peaceful.The room was very beautiful.The breakfast was worthy of a spot on Top Chef.Two thumbs up! Would definitely stay again.If you're military you could get a discount on Booking.com but I forgot to mention it when paying for the room. ☹ Nothing to complain about.

A beautiful view ☺ It was absolutely beautiful and it was located in a very peaceful quiet location therefore it was a much need needed relaxing getaway ☹ I felt it was very pricey. Just feel I paid about $200 more for this stay than any other B&B I’ve EVER stayed at

June Visit ☺ Thoroughly enjoyed the scenic views and our comfortable room. The breakfast delivered to our room each morning was a great touch, and the sunsets on our deck provided a dose of tranquility.
